Editorial policy
Prime County Review aims to make county life easier to understand through careful explanation, clear sourcing and visible distinctions between fact, interpretation and uncertainty.
Accuracy and sourcing
We check factual statements against suitable, identifiable sources and take care not to imply more than those sources establish. Explanations should distinguish general patterns from details that vary by place or change over time. When an article depends on current local information, it should say so and direct readers to verify details with the relevant authority rather than presenting a general account as a local rule.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a promise of favourable coverage to a contributor, partner or advertiser. A partnership does not buy an editorial conclusion, and relevant interests should be disclosed where they could affect how a piece is understood.
Corrections
We take specific reports of errors seriously. When a factual mistake is confirmed, we correct the affected text and make the change clear where the correction matters to a reader's understanding. Questions about a possible error can be sent through the Contact page.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner-supported material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Illustrations may be AI-generated; when that is the case, the image or its caption should identify it. Illustrations are not presented as documentary evidence.
